Unique Metal Fabrications, Inc. has the capability to fabricate all types of metal, aluminum, and stainless steel for the commercial structural steel industry. "Fabrication" means taking raw metals and cutting, bending, forming, punching, and welding them into into a product, ranging from one-item prototypes to complex production orders.

In 2000, our company received the American Institute of Steel Construction certification for "Conventional Steel Building Structures, Complex Steel Building Structures, and Sophisticated Paint Endorsement." The purpose of the AISC Quality Certification Program is to confirm to the construction industry that a certified structural steel fabricating plant has the personnel, organization, experience, procedures, knowledge, equipment, capability and commitment to produce fabricated steel to the required quality for a given category of structural steel work. Our certification will be subject to annual review in the form of inspections with a rigorous inspection/evaluation every year by AISC.

We are proud to have built and maintained a strong reputation for quality and dependability. Adam Endicott founded the company in 1983 with the intention of providing just that, and continues to be owner and operator. A large part of our success is attributed to his daily "Hands-on" management style.

UMFI has expanded its building many times and today operates in an over 125,000 square foot facility in Pittsburg, Kansas. Pittsburg's central location allows easy access to major interstate highways making transportation of products both timely and affordable.
