As an industry leader, our company is proud to have received the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) certification for “conventional steel building structures, complex steel building structures, and sophisticated paint endorsement” in 2000.  The AISC Quality Certification Program was established for the purpose of confirming to the construction industry that a certified structural steel fabricating plant has the personnel, organization, experience, procedures, knowledge, equipment, capability and commitment to produce fabricated steel to the required quality for a given category of structural steel work.  UMFI excels in meeting all of these requirements.  Certification through AISC guarantees quality performance and is subjected to annual review in the form of inspections with a rigorous inspection/evaluation every three years by AISC officials.
